Basel G. Jamra, co-founder of Jamra & Jamra, L.L.P., has practiced in the fields of civil litigation and family law. In the area of civil litigation, Basel has worked tirelessly to protect the rights of individuals, families and consumers who suffer serious injuries and damages including, but not limited to, catastrophic injury cases, brain injury cases, wrongful death, loss of limb, paralysis, and disfigurement. In his practice, Basel has aggressively pursued insurance companies and corporations to ensure they are held responsible for their obligations to the injured, pushing such matters to jury trial without hesitation when exhaustive efforts for an amicable resolution have been unsatisfactory. As a seasoned civil litigator, Basel has tried many cases to jury before numerous courts in Southern California and has obtained millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients.

Basel brings his aggressive jury trial experience to the family law arena to assist the firm’s clients in efficient and cost-effective litigation, and trial if the need arises, on issues involving custody, support, division of property and, paternity and palimony actions. Basel’s trial experience allows the firm’s clients to receive a true cost-benefit analysis when making a decision regarding litigation or settlement. Basel graduated from UC Davis in 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and an emphasis in Finance. Since graduating from Southwestern Law School in 2000, Basel has been committed to helping individuals and their families put their lives back together and move forward, whether as a result of an injury, catastrophic event or a divorce. His commitment and accomplishments have resulted in him being consistently named a Southern California Super Lawyer “Rising Star” by Los Angeles Magazine and Law & Politics.

Basel has been a consistent supporter of several non-profit organizations and charities that assist families and children, who find themselves in crisis, and other organizations that advocate and protect the rights of adults and children alike. These organizations and charities include the Alliance for Children’s Rights, The Fisher House Foundation, Our House, and Vista Del Mar, to name a few.
